Meta calculator is a great tool to use when students don’t have access to a graphing calculator. I actually prefer it to a traditional graphing calculator because the interface is much more intuitive and simpler to use. Meta calculator has four modes: graphing (which shows graphs of equations, intersections, and function tables), scientific (which calculates trigonometric functions and other arithmetic operations), matrix (which performs calculations on matrices), and statistics (which performs statistical calculations such as standard deviation and t-tests). Meta calculator also links to a couple of other tools–algebra solver and the triangle calculator–that nicely round out the suite of math tools.
