Digital Citizenship Standards?

With more and more students using technology for education both in and out of the classroom, digital citizenship training is more important than ever.  But many teachers received their initial training before the personal computing explosion and don’t necessarily have the resources to teach students about this new and very important subject.  The teachers at St. John’s Prep in Massachusetts have come up with a program to teach teachers the basics of digital citizenship so that they can pass on these skills to their students.  One major part of the program is a flipped classroom model that provides teachers with professional development on their own terms while also encouraging them to use the new teaching methods their students will be experiencing.
