Tool Tip Tuesday: Rewordify

Rewordify is a handy tool that students can use to simplify complicated vocabulary in texts that they are reading online. Students copy and paste the difficult text onto the website and a simplified version with changed words highlighted is returned.  If there are still words in the text that students don’t understand, they can click on the words and a definition will pop up.  By registering on the site, teachers can also create student accounts that allow them to track their students’ vocabulary learning progress through quizzes and engagement tracking.  Teachers can also assign texts to their class and track how long each student is reading and what kind of errors they are making in comprehension or vocabulary study.
