Tool Tip Tuesday: Kahoot

Kahoot is a great way to create interactive lessons and sneak in some just-in-time assessments as well.  With Kahoot, teachers create a multiple choice quiz that students can join by entering a unique PIN on their devices.  The teacher controls the display of questions and all students have to do on their device is select the correct answer.  Each student is identified by a nickname so teachers can see who answers what for each question and student scores are displayed so that students can see where they rank in the classroom.  There are many free Kahoots available but all it takes to create your own is signing up for free on the Kahoot website.  The service runs equally well in a browser (at https://kahoot.it/#/) or on the Kahoot app.
