With the shift to more visual forms of education over verbal (graphic organizers, anyone?), lots of teachers are turning to storyboarding and its cousins.  Some students are intimidated by these assignments because they are self-conscious about their artistic skills, so a program that allows them to use pre-created artwork to create their storyboards is ideal.  Storyboard That is a basic storyboarding program that allows students to choose the number of panels and then populate them with backgrounds, characters, text, and other shapes.  Storyboards can be exported to other file formats for sharing and with the premium account options, teachers have other options like the ability to include rubrics and view several students’ work at once.
