RESPOND Costs 2024-10-11T15:27:02-05:00

The basic RESPOND system costs about $65,000/year, installation, configuration, training and support inclusive. This is probably half the cost of any manual SOC service that would look at internal networks and identify and report on found issues, and it does not require remote people to access your network and export data for their analysis. It’s also about half the cost of adding one cyber-trained technical person to do manual monitoring and analysis. It also costs a lot less than any successful breach of your defenses would cost.

This basic system can examine up to 40,000 files/hour for malware and other issues. If you have the need to examine more files, the next upgrade can examine 120,000 files/hour. Network filters can also be added to the RESPOND system, if you want to have RESPOND automatically block malicious activity on your internal networks. These filters will block the traffic from any identified device, limiting its ability to cause mischief. You could install one filter at the network entrance to your data center, and automatically prevent your servers from getting attacked by ransomware or other malware. The one-time cost of a filter is about $500.

The cost of tying into your existing firewall so that it can block malicious activity and unwanted data exfiltration is already included in the basic installation. RESPOND also has pre-done integrations with network equipment, NAC and other networked hardware and software, and if you happen to have that hardware or software already installed, the cost of these upgrades to your protection is also free.
